The wind power has the highest number of projects eligible to participate in the Energy Auction A-3/2013 , which will be held on November 18 . The event aims to contract electricity to supply the consumer market in 2016 . In total , 381 wind power generation projects were technically qualified by the Energy Research Company ( EPE ) . The installed capacity of wind farms totaling 9,191 megawatts ( MW ) .
The solar source , who first participates in auctions electricity marketing promoted by the government , had 31 power generation type photovoltaic enabled , totaling a capacity of 813 MW . Small Hydropower ( SHP ) , with 10 projects ( 190 MW ) and biomass power plants , with 7 projects ( 266 MW ) complete sources .
The EPE technically enabled 429 projects generating electricity for A-3/2013 , with installed capacity of 10,460 MW added . The ceiling price of the auction , for all sources participating will be $ 126/MWh .
